New day, new genre

Well, new to me anyway. Don't even try and act like you haven't heard of Emo Violence:

The major difference between Emo Violence and Screamo is the chaos element. Whereas most Screamo albums are meant to be well produced, tight, coherent and less than dissonant, Emo Violence tends to forsake that for a more raw, unpolished aggressive sound.
Sounds like a laugh eh what?

It may shock you to discover that in a roundabout kind of way I had quite of lot exposure to the Leeds Emo scene.

I always found it strange how these young men could sing/scream so passionately about wearing jumpers and not quite pulling girls.

"as used to describe bands like Infest, Man Is The Bastard and Spazz"

to be honest, I've alway found Spazz to be little more than a poor man's Pig Destroyer meets Man Is The Bastard on downers.

But y'know, emoviolence is so last century, I'm all about Belgium acid-core black metal these days.

na that's total complete and utter bollocks, especially about screamo having high production values as a genre standard.

whoever wrote that wikipedia article is exactly the kind of anally retentive hardcore kid that creates the dictinction between US hardcore and actual punk music
